- 220V, Single-Phase 50-amp Electrical requirement. We will provide a female SOOW (Service Cord) plug to connect directly into the unit’s power panel. The unit must also be properly grounded by connecting a green ground wire coming out of the power panel to an 8’ copper grounding rod which must be driven down 95 percent in the ground. Each unit will be provided one grounding rod.

AHR’s 4-Hour hazmat side-open storage containers are very capable lockers that feature a unique design with a focus on ease of access to the entire inside of the unit. We have 4 large doors that hinge on each other, creating the entire side of the unit to open. This hazmat side-opening storage container is ideal for customers loading large and heavy items that must be lifted with a forklift. The unit is capable of giving you first-pick access to 5 pallets at once, placed two deep. This design is available in non-fire-rated, 2-hour fire-rated, and 4-hour fire-rated models. We also carry all 3 fire-ratings in our HQ models, reaching 9’6 tall.
American Hazmat Rental units are designed and manufactured here in the United States by our certified in-house technicians and staff. Our production line is continually growing, with new hazmat containers entering our fleet every week. This gives us greater flexibility to give our customers what they want, when they need it; if we do not have it in stock
Each hazmat open-side storage container is equipped with a fire-suppression system; in the event that the contents are somehow ignited, and a fire breaks out. Working with Pyro-Chem, we have implemented their total flooding, pre-engineered MONARCH dry chemical hazardous material storage building fire suppression system into our fleet. Our Staff is trained and certified to install, maintain, and inspect our fire suppression systems. We have the experience required for this industry.
Containers that have our UL 4-hour fire rating are required for storing hazardous products placed within 10 feet of, or inside an occupied building. Underwriters Laboratories listed approved USG UL419 walls are 7½” thick and weigh about 21 pounds per square foot. We build our fleet by putting your team and products’ safety first!
